Oh my goodness! Can you believe that we are in 2009? And this is my first blog post of the year? So much for my last post about keeping commitments.
I trust all of you had a fantastic festive season and celebrated in style. Can I ask how do you feel now? I personally, had a wonderful time and managed to celebrate raw style with delicious food. I got to feel that raw energy flow through me whilst everyone else sat around with stuffed bellies and groaning about eating too much. Atlhough to give my family credit that was the effect they were after! Just not me.
So now we're into 2009 have you made your commitments to yourself about how this year is going to be the best year of your life? Have you planned out what it is that you're intending to do? Now I have a slight problem with resolutions, perhaps because I set them too vague - you know - mmm I think I'm going to get fit.
Anyway, this year I've set myself 12 intentions one for each month. Something novel that I've not done before, not anything big just something a little out of the ordinary. I've done 12 for a personal me, 12 for my business and 12 for doing something with my children. I'm so excited about this concept.
So what does this month hold for me - personally it's to go to a pilates class, I've only ever done pilates at home before in front of a video (see how long ago that was!). I loved it and used to do it almost every day until I discovered yoga. Now I still fully intend to keep up my yoga practice but I fancy doing something different so this is this months call.
On a business level - well what can I say, I'm running my very first coaching programme. I'm just so excited about this and I'm busy writing up all the content now (well apart from distracting myself with blogging lol!). If you've not read about the course go and read about it here or if you're still undecided and are not sure if coaching is for you - then I ask you to ask yourself this question - what is stopping you investing in your health and well-being? If you would like to discuss this further then please get in touch for a complimentary coaching call.
With my children, we've picked out to adopt an elephant. They received some money as a present for christmas and instead of just buying more stuff, we talked about how we could help others. I'm really excited about this one as I've long had a fascination with elephants (nothing like projecting your wants onto the children!).
If you like this idea - why don't you pick out 12 things you've not done before and do 1 every month. If you like it then keep it going.
